I cannot wait for this game! It looks better than RE4 so far. I hope old characters make an appearence. Preferably Jill Valentine and Billy Coen. Don't know how Billy would fit into the story, but it'd be cool. And Sherry Birkin would be nice to see. She'd be around 22 at the time, so seeing her kick some ass would be awsome

If the game has improved more based on RE4's battle system, I say it is a "must-get" game. What I loved about RE4 was the new battle system, giving more freedom when aiming your weapon at your enemies, which also improves accuracy (for example, shooting to the head is now easier for those used to playing first person shooters such as Metroid, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, etc). I am pleased to see that the same design was used in RE-5 
I hope I see the return of "Tyrant" class monsters

I haven't played Resident Evil in a long time now, I was all hyped up for this game until I realized it was going to be released in 2009, then I slowly forgot about it 
It better not do what every other decent game is doing at the moment...being delayed 6 months ¬_¬

Resident Evil 5 looked intense during its early stages. God knows what it'll be like when we finally get the final product.
If the game is even a fraction as good as RE4, then we're in for a great gaming experience. I'm hoping it'll surpass RE4...which is likely.

Wow, that's kick-ass! I'd like to play this game, or at least watch my husband or brother play it. I find that I can't really play any horror games (except Parasite Eve). I've only played and finished one Resident Evil game, and that's Code Veronica, which still freaked me out a little. I saw most of RE4 and from what I can tell, it's really good, so I can only hope that RE5 will surpass RE4.
I wonder if Claire would make an appearance...
But yeah, the movements for RE5 seems a bit more crazier than RE4 as you are looking at more realistic movements and a larger multitude of people attacking you at once. I definitely wouldn't want to play this game by myself...

New trailer for you people showing off the new graphics quite nicely as well as the new partner for Chris Redfield. It's looking pretty good it has to be said.
I've heard about a co-operative mode but not 100% sure about that yet.
