which Final Fantasy was it?

Hi, wondering which final fantasy that had this storyline. I tried searching on here and online, and coudnt find it. The story was about 4 heros who used a ship to enter the past and future to save the world from corrupting itself and thus exploding. Sorry dont know much more but i remeber loved playing it and wondering which final fantasy was it. The game was for original game boy i used to play, id say about decade ago.

Maybe it was a game like Final Fantasy Adventure, which if i remember correctly, was released for the Gameboy.
