Well i would like to see a sequel to 8. I want to see more gunblade action and see what Squall is up to of course. Though I am not really sure what the plot could be. As for any other sequels well i guess maybe some of the older ones could get a sequel if they could come up with a new plot or a new enemy or something. I haven't really played any of the really old one except the remake of 1 for psp.

Me too, I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to Final Fantasy IX either.

I Think Final Fantasy Tactics Needs a sequel! it needs to tell more on Deleta more! and what happened to Ramza and his family! it also needs ramza's wife.its a missing piece!The story must go on with ramza and deleta

I'd be afraid of a sequel to any of the games. Look at X-2 and Yuna. I can imagine they'd all make the female characters look like sluts. But if they didn't do that (but I'm pretty sure they would), I would like to see a sequel to IX.
The whole epilogue thing was weird. We didn't get to see what happened to Vivi, Amarant (we saw him crossing a bridge, but that's about it), and Kuja. Although I presume Vivi and Kuja are dead anyway. Maybe a prequel?
I think that are already enough sequels/prequels to VII. I guess because its the most popular. But I'm sure they will keep making them as long as people keep buying them.

I'm not to keen on the idea of a sequel because of the epic fail that is X-2.
But if done right I would like to see a sequel to VIII. Mainly because I would like to see that world in next generation graphics. I believe of all the older FF games that would be one of the most beautiful enhanced games. I can't think of a good plot for it.
After that I would pick IX simply because of the atmosphere from that game. I would like to see it with an enhanced engine as well, but I somehow feel it might end up like XII's world. Problem with a sequel to IX is that the music of IX is what made the game so great to me. Without the same composer it wouldn't feel the same.

Please put more effort into your post. Why do you think none of the games need a sequel? What was it about X that convinced you that none of these games needed a sequel?

I'd like to see one more sequel to VII, seeing as how they left unanswered questions about Genesis and his "brothers" at the end of DOC.
Other than that, I don't really want any of the other games to have a sequel. As seen with X, messing with the storyline isn't always a good thing. At the end of VIII and IX, I felt closure and was ready to move on to the next game. I didn't see anything they could bring up in a sequel that wasn't answered already. That means they'd prob just make up a crappy story, like they did with X-2.
So, no sequels for me! Unless it's another FF7 game, and that's been milked so much that it really doesn't matter anymore
