What do you think of FF games you played?
Basically what do you think about each FF game you played.
And there are two rules:
1)No flamming and starting a fight
2)This rule is very special one: no story, characterizations, etc.
Reason for 2nd rule: Because whenever I looked at 'Did you liked the game' kinda posts there were always posts about stories, characterizations and so on. So here you must only post about the gameplay, bosses, enemies, sidequests and so on.
I'll post mine after few posts.

Well....I loved all Final Fantasys I've played. The battle system is the baest thing ever I think. I never actually imagined tactics in RPGs. That until I've played FFVIII. It is perfect.
The sidequests part ....well...I never got along with it very well. Without a proper quest log or journal it kinda sucked. The optional mega-hard bosses part is brilliant. It makes the game replayable over and over again. Enemies....man I hate some and love some....the Malboros are my deepest nightmare and I love all sort of mechanical and undead enemies.

Now thats what I was looking for.

I also liked every FF game. In every boss battle you need a strategy (well, not all of them). I liked FF5 very much cause of the jobs and equiping specific skills you learnt to other jobs. In FF12 (my favourite) there was a new battle system but I liked it, the leveling was easy that way and the game needed a lot of strategies for certain boss. In FF12 I also liked the hidden espers and that there are more sidequests to complete and secrets to unlock.

I've played all FF's except 3 and of course 13 due to the platform situation.
The early final fantasies, except the graphics, are very much like the later versions, the storyline is wholesome and enticing and the characters each possess their own individual personalities and backgrounds which I love. Each ff has its only great attributes which vary from one to the other so its hard to say a favourite ff. FF7 for its gripping storyline and FFX for its stunning graphics. All in all from ff1-12 my experience with ff is that every one is different it fresh and you can never get bored of them. Each of them have something which all other games lack, they are more than other games with features such as endless patrolling of a world map with amazing scenery and complementing music, this is why final fantasy is so widely respected.

I liked all of them, I guess you'd have to being a member of this forum I love the battles (altho they can get tedious sometimes when alkl you wanna do is just find something you KNOW is in that particular area and you keep getting side tracked by random battles) Iv always enjoyed the stories, the side quests are great -and great at annoying me lol-
I have always gone back to each game more than twice, I dont think id ever really get bored tbh theres just so much to do & something that has been missed on a previous play thru

There has not been an FF I didnt like atleast a little
My favorites are Tactics,XI and XII though
Tactics - simply cause I love these sorts of games, and I love any FF with a job system
XI - Its epic, its got pretty much everything you'd want in FF and its online! 20 jobs now, tough battles, interesting characters
XII - I love the new battlesystem and amount of extra content it has. I lvoe the character design and overall look of XII the most.

I've liked everyone I've played so far. My faves are VII, XI and tactics.

Ive enjoyed all of them, some more than others. FFX2 was probably the worst but still enjoyable. FFVII and tactics are the best.

Well...I do love most Final Fantasy games but the only one I haven't beaten was II so far. I played half through II and I stopped. So I don't have much to say there.
X-2 was my least favorite. Yes, it did ruin X for me but it was still fun running around, and it was a 'girl power' game. FFIII was bland but it was still alright.
I do love all of the combat systems in each FF series. The recurring themes, characters, and monsters are great. Best of all, each Final Fantasy game had amazing music.
