Perhaps Revenant Wings was their attempt to flesh out a couple of the XII characters then...

Uh...I also miss the Dark Knight class! I hear they put it in War of the Lions, which is nice...but I'd like to see a new character actually just be a Dark Knight...even though he/she would be constantly compared to Cecil...I'd like a PERMANENT Dark Knight for once...

After playing FF1/FF2 on the PSP today I just miss the 'old' Final Fantasy with the sprites...obviously, I don't want to downgrade the graphics and stuff but the whole game just feels Final Fantasy like...the story and more important the battle system.

I kinda miss the classic protect-the-crystals storyline...
It would appear the recent ones all left the crystals as a less important entity.
