Voice Actors

The older games didn't have voice actors, with the exception of FFIV on DS, but if you had your way, who would voice the characters in FFI-IX? Who would you switch in FFX and FFXII?

X and XII, I would leave exactly as they are, with the exception of Vaan. I imagine Elijah Wood would fulfil said role particularly well.

I like the voices given to the characters in the VII spin-offs, though I'd personally keep Mandy Moore instead of Mena Suvari as Aerith.

From the Kingdom Hearts titles, I preferred David Boreanaz as Leon, as opposed to Doug Erholtz and I'd like to see Boreanaz reprise his role as Leon in any further title where Leon is featured. Selphie, however, was dire and should be changed immediately.

I'm quite flakey so I don't mind which actors are given to a character. As long as they don't make every line cringe-worthy, I'm alright with them.

Im honestly not fussed who did the voice acting tbh, altho Id like to see Vin Diesle in there somewhere. Not sure if he's fit any part though

They should all stop with the stupid fake accents tho it's wrong

If they are gunna have any kind of accent then they get someone that speaks said accent to start with, Robert Carlisle(sp) would of made a better Cait Sith

I agree with not changing the FFX and FFXII VAs, but as far as the other games go, I wouldn't really mind. I'm not sure what VAs would be appropriate for FF9, seeing as how I dunno if they should sound childish or adultish. I know Steiner and Freya and Amarant would, but as far as the rest of the bigheads go, I think it would be really difficult.

For FF8, I REALLY love the characters in that game (I have been reading brilliant fanfictions ever since it was released), so I think I'd be very picky about who would be able to VA for them. I know that Squall shouldn't sound like Cloud, and that Selphie shouldn't sound like Rikku... I dunno who would be good VAs though.

Maybe they could make a reality show about of it.

Ooh didn't David Boreanaz do Squall in KH?? I think that suited him rather well. It's hard for me to think of VA's for characters who I have already imagined what they sound like in my head really

Maybe Liv Tyler for Rinoa....hmm

Someone girly and hyper for Selphie *thinks* like Monica from friends only younger O_o

Ugh, I hated Squall's VA in Kingdom Hearts. It just wasn't real enough for me, whatever that means. Zell's VA would need to be on point though, seeing as how he's the best Final Fantasy character.

The VA choice for Zidane in the japanese Dissidia is beyond atrocious. Sure, he's sixteen, but sixteen year old boys usually have their balls dropped by then. He sounds like an eleven year old on crack. I don't think anyone deserves to be voiced by the Naruto woman O_O
