The Elite Organizations
What organization do you think is the most skilled?
I am going with Gaurdians because, just for the fact that they have to protect the most important people in Spira...the summoners!
SeeD are really just kids that have graduated from military school. They have had minimum field experience. They have taken a couple written exams and 2 field exams. Big whoop.
White SeeD, you really never got a chance to see them in action.
Tantalus, they are most likely my second choice. They are extremely good at what they do. They put on a good show, and they kidnap a princess at the same time (not very well but they still did it!)
SOLDIER is also a tough choice too. Zack and Sephiroth. Both are extremely good fighters, and if there were more SOLDIERS running around, that would be a pretty decent fighting team. The reason I know Zack is exelent in the battle field is because Cloud thought he was Zack, so he performed like him...and Cloud kicked ass.
AVALANCHE are capable of performing their missions, as shown in the beggining of the game. They died fighting for their purpose, which is very noble. They just didn't have the numbers or fire power to stand up to Shinra though.
The Turks are very capable fighters as well. Reno, Rude, Elena, Tseng, and Vincent can all hold their own in a fight. But seeing how Sephiroth (SOLDIER) toasted Tseng (one of the best Turks) that shows the dominance over that company. I may not be being fair by comparing Tseng to Sephiroth, but that is what happened!
Summoners are the hope of all Spira, but without the Gaurdians they wouldn't ever be able to make it to Zandarkand to free Spira of Sin. Even with the Gaurdians, they always died fighting Sin with the Final Aeon.

I would say it's a tough choice between SeeD and SOLDIER, and even the Turks, mostly because those are the only three that have to go through some kind of training

Hmm, tough choices. I'd probably go with the Guardians. I know that if I was a summoner, I'd feel safe in their company. Give me Auron anytime, any day.
SeeD is also up there, even though the students are teenagers. Given the proper training and learning new skills, I think they can pretty much get themselves out of trouble when need be.
As for SOLDIER, that's definitely one of the best elite organization around too. Although most of the soldiers sucked, Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth really stood out - so much that SOLDIER has a good reputation because of them.

Except Cloud wasn't in the league of Zack and Sephiroth remember. He was just a lowly gunman while the other two were 1st Class. It was when Cloud thought he was Zack that he started to really stand out.

I went with Soldier. Military training coupled with Mako showers and other un-natural shit for a good ol' fashioned 'Super Soldier'

Right. xD But I mean overall as a character, Cloud still stood out even if he wasn't exactly in SOLDIER. And even as a Shinra guard, Cloud was still a good soldier, despite the fact that he didn't made it in first class.
So I see it as Cloud being connected to SOLDIER afterall.  |

seeD is my favorite organization, but I think soldier is the most skilled (Main Charcaters anyway)

SOLDIER has to be classed as the strongest and most badass Organization in any game, not only do they have members as great as Sephiroth, Genesis, Angael, Zack, cloud but they have the superhuman abilities bestowed on them by the fusion with Mako cells and their all like super hot with their badass Gravity defying hair
