I don't know why Nomura feels the need to put zippers and belts on everything...I know every artist has to have a trademark, but couldn't he find something a little less silly than that? Typically with clothing designs in games, you see them and go "hey, that might be cool to wear"...but with 99% of Nomura's designs, for me it's a resounding "I would NEVER EVER put that on."

That 'The World Ends With You' still creeps me out with the reused designs, its like woah...and there's a definite Riku wannabe on the front cover of the box
I like the Donaldo images , it shows how bad he is. At least if he's going to use LOTS and LOTS of belts at least use fashionable ones

It's only a page back for me (only have it at 20 posts per page too, I think...)...
Anyways...I still don't see the Crono=Goku thing...I mean, besides being stylistically similar...not even those pics are the same as each other. Similar expression, yes...but the jawline is different, Crono's smirk is more subdued, the noses are both different, as are their ears & the ears alignment, Goku's more squinty...and...anyways, that's the newer art (TOIE? I think so...they did the new anime sequences, so I think they did the new art for it as well) of Crono...

Like a lot of people, I really liked Nomura's work in FF7, but he is clearly in a rut. I still like the style, but I'm tired of seeing it repeated so often. I became officially disillusioned when I saw the character designs for FF10-2 and thought, "Why is there a female Squall in this game?"
I still believe in Nomura, but I think he's just stuck. Genesis looks like someone's older sister.
