I read some where that ifrit was a middle eastern god of demons or fire .... can't remember or know how true it was. I had more as well but I'm too lazy to find them and can't remember.

Ifrit is a type of Jinn (or genie), supernatural beings from the Qur'an and other old Arabic tales.
