Nabudis vs. Zanarkan
So...both were beautiful places and ended up being totally destroyed and over-run with fowl monsters and such. Which place is best in your opnion? Looks and Battle wise. Explain.

zanarkand was better IMO, it was pretty modernized. not that i like that, but i just like the way that it was a legend among the people of spira, and that it was the cause of sin. i just think the whole city had a good story to go along with it.

Nabudis i guees, since it is controlled by the empire while Zanarkand only has Fiends, if need be the whole Imperial army could defend Nabudis..
but looks wise - its Zanarkand, its just so pretty
so Battle = Nabudis
Looks - Zanarkand

Zanarkand is a million times better. It's not even a choice. Nabreas deadlands has some horrible 2 second history while the story of Zanarkand spans thousands of years. Easily Zanarkand.

Zanarkand, I'm afraid. Nabudis fell to an army who still used Swords and whatnot - I suppose the Midlight Shard did have something to do with it But, in the end, Nabudis fell quite easily. Zanarkand, on the other hand, had been battling with Bevelle for quite some time, both using Forbidden Machina (like the kind used to fight Sin during Operation: Mi'ihen) and Summoners, too. It took Sin, an impenetrable force, to cease the fighting.

Both are interesting to learn about, but Zanarkand is almost the focal point of FFX and sooo much more is poured into it Plot-wise.
We get to see Zanarkand in it's majestic beauty; full. Metropolis... Go check out the Movie Sphere in Luca called that and witness the magnificence as Seymour walks the party through it. Watch Wakka's facial expressions.

I agree, what with all the plot implications concerned with Zanarkand, I'd have to go with that one simply because it plays a central role in the story.
But battle-wise, Nabudis. I mean come on, the opening scenes are epic, almost LoTR like.
And looks, I'd go with Zanarkand, just because it was all modernistic and all that jazz.

Nabudis was possibly pretty awesome, but we don't know enough about it. Zanarkand gets more attention, so I think it's a natural choice.

Out of both, I thought Zanarkand was the best. Zanarkand had more of a fantasy feel and setting to it, in my opinion. Where as Nabudis had more of a medieval dungeon feel and less of a fantasy setting.

Zanarkand Hands down.
It's a holy place with so much connection to the Fayth.
it's where the battle with Sin is supposed to take place.
in my opinion Zanarkand > Nabudis. No Questions asked.
