That's...quite a good point, Celes was a badass. Why wasn't Locke on the poll either? He's not really a badass, but he and Celes are just as much lead characters as Terra was.

Balthier...hmm...I suppose he was badass-ish, in a rogue sort of way. Reddas was certainly a badass, but he wasn't a main character.

I voted for cloud.
He was awesome in the movie Advent Children.

I was torn between Cloud and Squall, but I chose Squall.

Aside from the opening FMV, Squall was truly badass throughout the game. The Landing was awesome, although Quistis was surely more badass than him there. Driving the car through the parade and jumping on Edea's float was badass. Breaking out of the Galbadia Prison was badass. The Galbadia War was badass. Hijacking the President's train was badass. Saving Rinoa from space was badass. There are many other moments of badassery, but I'm tired of saying the word badass.
