Lol! At first when you said where all the characters were sprites I thought you meant the drink Sprite >< lol. But yeah, I think it would be a pretty cool idea. And even better if it was for the PS2 as you said!

Sprites? Lol that would be weird, but interesting, I guess. As long as they have a good storyline and unique set of characters, then no problem with me. I'm always up for a change.

Yeah, that would be the best genre for a game with sprites. :p
It'd have to make up with engrossing storyline, a multitude of sidequests, and really great (possibly FFVI numerous) characters as well, just to balance out the appeal.

2D sprites on PS2? if yes, as long as it's better with FF1 and 2 20th anniv. edition I'd definitely welcome that. It's like we'll see how they'll improve in continuing the trend of the original series(FF1-6). that's be cute!

I was looking at the sprites you get for Sky Pirate's Den in FFXII and thought it would be a good idea to make a whole game like it. Especially considering how good the PS's graphics would make it look.

Hey if the storyline and gameplay were good I'd buy it.
I do think it would be fun if they took the 3D FF games and made a version of them with 16 bit graphics, kind of like how they're making many of the 2D FF games into 3D. Some of the 3D characters would look really cute as sprites Like Aerith or Yuna or Vincent.
