My main problem with them is having to go through my item list to find them...takes to long and I figure forget it.
FFXII I started using items a LOT more though, I guess its because I had been playing FFXI for so long before I got used to needing them for FF games. Before FFXI I never used them.

Oh yes I do it, hording Elixirs and using even one makes me feel something inside me has died. I don't tend to use items generally anyways so the only times I do in when its direly needed.

Unless its FFVII then I whore out the W-Item trick to the point where it just doesn't matter. Cheatin' bastad be I

I have the same problem as you, Mitsuki. For some reason I tend to keep them knowing they would come in handy later... but at the end are barely used...

I guess its things like not wanting to use a special item, like the Serpent Skin in 12 due to it being of importance later on, and bits like those that dwelve in our minds and prevent us from being impatient, and so we actually are cautious to an extent. Even though we know what an Elixir is for.
