Getting Sick of Me Yet?
Over the years that Final Fantasy games have been spit out by Square, we've seen games where many times you fight the same boss over and over and over again.
For example:
Final Fantasy V: Gilgamesh
Final Fantasy VI: Ultros
Final Fantasy VII: The Turks
Final Fantasy VIII: Seifer
Final Fantasy IX: Beatrix
Final Fantasy X: Seymour
Final Fantasy XII: The Judges
Out of these recurring mini-bosses who don't happen to be the main boss in the end, who did you have the most fun/memories going against? Overall, who was the best of the best when it came to battling them 3...maybe more times in a game?

Beatrix was my favourite, you know she's going to be a challenge and she always ends up kicking your arse, just like the perfect boss should, you don't constantly win against her, unlike the others - which forces the designers to create new forms for the other bosses. She stays the same, and she's able to defeat 4 of your guys effortlessly. That, and she has amazing lines.

The Turks for me...next would be Seifer. It was fun encountering The Turks - what with all their funny little quirks and mishaps. Then there's Seifer who did intimidate me at first, but I thought he was just too cool.

...AND you get to control her more than once.
Beatrix for me, too.
EDIT:
Even though I voted for Seifer, I meant Beatrix.

The Turks are cool, Ultros as a receptionist provides a good laugh, but Beatrix is my favourite. As already mentioned she repeatedly beats your party senseless, is pretty powerful and gets all the best lines. She's one of the best NPCs in the series (OK she's not strictly an NPC as you play as her for a short while in FFIX. but you get what I mean).
Though when she finally realises that Brahne is a nutjob and that she might be better off on your side I did resist the urge to shout at the screen "Took you long enough to realise!" XD

The Turks. Their whole attitude, the way they complimented each other. The respect you gain for each other by the end of the game.
I definitely disagree with the above folks on Beatrix though, no offense. I liked Beatrix a lot. What I hated, and puts her out of the running in my opinion, is that you have no choice but to lose. It's cheap and I hate bosses like that. So while she rocked, the tactics they gave her stunk.

For me it would have to be the Turks. I always love running into them and they may not always be a challenge to beat, It feels almost different every time I fight them, it's doesn't feel like "Didn't I already beat these guys?" or "Oh crap, I have to fight them again?"

Yeah the Turks were cool a lot of fun to fight, not a real threat but still loads of fun, also I enjoyed kicking Seymour's ass after his long speeches .

I got sick of the Judges pretty fast. With a busy schedule, I only played the game in spurts and never was able to piece the Judges together as well as opponents in other games (not to mention the fact that they are under-characterized, although the little we are given is intriguing). So seeing the different Judges didn't delight me as much as, say, seeing the Turks whom I was able to get familiar with. They just seemed sort of like checkpoints in racing games.
On another note, I think the poll should have also included the Black Waltzes from FFIX. I got real sick of them pretty fast. They were boring, whereas Beatrix was fun to interact with (on a story-wise level).
