I think they can use this music video to advertise the film, just put a little tag at the end of the song
"A Reanactment of a scene from the film Final Fantasy VII Advent Children" that way both company's win.

It's clear why SE don't appreciate this and they have every right to demand that it is removed. However, as was said, it'd be beneficial to make use of this.
EDIT:
The fact that the song is quite good and the music is very catchy shows that SE stand to gain more than they stand to lose by allowing this video to stay. If they made songs like this for every production, I'd imagine they'd increase their profits by a hefty sum.

How..bizarre. I never thought I would ever see something like this. The Japanese sure are a strange people. However I agree with Riku what is SE's problem? They are getting free advertising and fans of this singer may then want to see the film. I think a tag at the end is the best thing for this situation. Then again straight sueing them has a much more short term monetary effect...
