Blizzard, Lightning or Fire
The three main elemental attacks in every Final Fantasy. For a lot of enemies it really doesn't matter which of the three you cast. Granted you get flare and whatnot further in... but when your black mage only has those three spells, which do you usually prefer if the enemy has no elemental weaknesses?
PS - Water doesn't count because it's usually a more powerful attack later on

It used to be ice cus i thought it was, um....cool.
But i use lightning, but only cus i have never like fire. It just seems a bit boring. I can't explain it. Electric is more flashy and i like that in things.

Anywho, I choose Blizzard. It's always seemed the coolest to me...

i always used either fire or lightning because they were my main spells but i would preferably use fire mainly because it is the first spell any black mage gets not including rydia from ff4

They're all the same. None of them make any sort of difference unless the enemy has an elemental weekness. lol.
I do love fire though. =]

For some reason this thread kinda reminds me of Captain Planet lol....
well I like lightning. It looks cooler, and I'd like that in real life... (Fire can cause bushfires and blizzard is freezing) I like lightning for the fact that when it hits the enemy, it just looks like it hit them real good
