But magic is one of the things that links all of the games together for me. Whether you put a sci-fi spin on it, or have it as an omnipresent mystical power, it runs through the veins of the series. Summoning is magical, materia is magical, even life and death are perceived as magical. Where was all that in Spirits Within? Grrrr....

I've always think, that the only mistake in that movie is to burden the name of Final Fantasy. If the was called in any other way, i'm pretty sure that more people would like it. Most people were expecting a mini-FFVII on that movie.
