My grandparents, mainly my grandma (and her parents) have been living here in the U.S for many years now. I'm not really familiar with the history, but towards the end of 1995 (October) we were petitioned (a bunch of my aunts, uncles, my dad, and my bro) to come live in California. My mom's still living in the Philippines though since she and my dad aren't married. But yeah, we have a lot of family and relatives here in the U.S, and still a lot more back in the Philippines waiting for their legal papers.
In fact I can now petition for my mom as well (when I turned 21 last year), but currently we're having trouble with her papers (loooong story). It's almost fixed though, I think...I've been sending her 200 bucks a month just to get things sorted out as these things cost A LOT of money.

Dammit. I want to search for greener pasteurs too!
How old were you when you got there?
EDIT: Wait, moved back? So you're here in Pinas?

Good for you! It used to be a lot easier to migrate a few years ago. Now, like you said, it takes a lot of money and time. Good luck with your mom. Hope you guys get re-united soon.
I also have lots of relatives in America (like 5 clans). I visit them every two years or so.

Next May, huh? We'll definitely be back permanently to Cali by then. xD Ohio just stinks.
