Pokemon Diamond, don't buy it.
Unless you're perfectly happy with the same plot, the same fights, the same battle system, the same pokemon with different names. In which case by all means by this game.
But if you want something different, do not buy. DO NOT WANT, the worst thing about this game is the pokemon named Bidoof, which is a Rattata with a bad case of Piles
The music is abysmal, your pokemon can still only learn 4 moves, nothing has changed.
So again, do not buy.

You're telling us this now? I think we already got the message in Gold and Silver, so bit pointless telling us now  . Gameplay is awesome on this, the story is really poor. Pokemon storylines aren't always super, but this was the weakest one ever.

Gold and Silver was a bit of a change to red and blue, it had just the right amount of pokemon, and you could visit Kanto, beat the shit out of Ash and Gary, and the graphics weren't too bad for the time.
They have to be my favourite of the pokemon series, but this is terrible I expected better. It was meant to be good and for the DS. This thing might as well be released on GBC.

I was disappointed. I love Fire Red, and I love Crystal. I wish they'd re-make Gold/Silver/Crystal for the D.S. ¬_¬ It's not a terrible game, but Fire Red/Leaf Green is miles better. I agree... It's bareable, and playing online is fun, but it's gone down-hill.

This game wouldn't have blown whale cock if you could change you character's appearance and get all the badges an' shit. As Finn stated, being able to go to the other countries made Gold and Silver win.

I doubt it. Not until they stop making money. The bigger companies often do ruin popular series/films/games and what was loved by adding and adding and adding until there's nothing to gain. Until fans become tired and quit being fans. They ruin good memories to make money. They ruin good stories to make money. Basically, so long as money is made, they'll ruin anything they create. Shrek 3 anyone? (Or was I the only one who really didn't like it? )

To be honest, I think it is kind of hinted in the game that this could be the final generation as the legendary Arceus is suppose to be the creator of all. It is the highest level wild Pokemon (Level 80) and statistically the strongest Pokemon. In my opinion that is a hint that this could be the final generation of Pokemon.
And regards to Bidoof. Here is another joker new to the generation IV.
Probopass or also known as the Jew Pokemon. The evolved form of the then worse idiotic Pokemon, Nosepass.
