So much for the pokemon franchise, first nothing changes, then it comes with a wii game that you practically NEED diamond or pearl to play with.... It can be said that if they don't at least CHANGE the tedious a mashing sequence at the beggining, pokemon will go puff in a matter of seconds

... btw Bidoof should've never seen the light of day

I myself am a pokemon fan... well was... I have pearl =D

And when Porygon2 evolves, it becomes retarded.

Palkia is boring. Dialga is like 17ft tall, and a steel/dragon poke.

The plot is really dull in this, the best plot probably comes from Ruby/Sapphire. This game brings along with it useful Poketch devices, such as the Berry Status Checker. You have the ability to get trade only Pokemon - Machamp, Alakazam via GTS - though GTS can be abused, if you don't know of anyone who can give you a certain Pokemon, you may find it on GTS! You can get friends codes, and trade over wifi, and have battles with people in different countries too!
You can take part in digging, grow spheres to get bigger places for your secret base, and come across that get in your way.

To say this is a let down in the series is a bit stupid, but then non Pokemon fans wouldn't understand that would they.

I would if people I had enough decent DS games to get a Wifi plug in, but I don't and this is one of the not decent enough to persuade me to buy one.

Can't argue with that, but the amount of moves allowed could've been increased to something higher. And what if I want to use Water Gun once I forgot it for something stronger? Surely the pokemon could still know Water Gun, the game had so much potential but it failed itself.

You honestly think I planned to boycott this game and tell everyone to NOT buy this game? I was merely making a thread about how not so great this game is and how incredibly overrated it is, and you've just wasted your time replying in an attempt to belittle a mini-review of this game.

GTS is kind of crap. Most of the people keep searching for level 9 and under Mews so they can exploit the cloning glitch. Despite how crap I think it is, I have managed to get 2 Palkias, 4 Kyogres, 2 Cresselias, 2 Uxies, Mew and Mesprit all off GTS with not as valuable Pokemon like Arcanine, Toxicroak, Mothim, Vespiquen etc (Although most of these are probably hacked - if not, all).
