North Korea is by far the worst "country" in the world
I put quotation marks around country as I don't think it's a country at all. It's a prison camp. Iraq, Afghanistan, they're like holiday places compared to NK.
Go on Youtube and search North Korea. There's video's of what it's like for the people there. There was even a "boyband" from South Korea who performed there and the audience was just dead. Either they weren't allowed to cheer of fear from being shot or they don't know how to express themselves. I have seen other foreighn correspondent shows on NK and there really was nothing positive from that "country"

Do you think North Korea is the worst "Country" in the world?
I really pity the innocent people there.

There are many definition of 'worst' of course.
For example, I'd say Sudan is the worst country in the world because of the 'Invisible Children' wars that go on over there even as we speak.
Or Iraq, because of the war.
But yeah, I think North Korea is in one of those categories somewhere, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
I mean, it is still blatantly communist and the people are really oppressed by the government; I mean, they barely receive any food as Jung-Il is just holding back all the supplies and whatnot.
As for nothing positive, I would've assumed that the government would do all it can to advertise North Korea in a positive light somehow, but apparently not?

Hmm...I was just about ready to defend North Korea. It appears you've a valid point Clyde. Apparently, it is, in fact, a law not to sing, or so much as hum South Korean music there.
That youtube video was a bit hard to watch. The sheer awkwardness of that situation must've been hard on Shinhwa.

The only positive advertisement about North Korea is propaganda.... and thats only to the people within NK. The fact that the country is so secretive and there is no hope of the people in there being rescued like in Africa... its not like the UN can go in there... people can't leave... in order to escape they have to go through to China... then through to Mongolia. The Chinese will turn North Koreans in and more often than not, that leads to torture and/or death.
They could run to South Korea but i'd imagine there is so much security there all you can do is run and hope you dont get shot...
Have you ever seen clips of the demilitarised zone? The enemy actually look straight at each other... its so ridiculous

Whoa there cowboy! Lets not mistake the North Korean government with the North Korean people. And hey, when was the last time they invaded a country because their fat lazy McDonalds eating poplulace were destroying too much of the Earths natural resources?
Let those who are without sin....? Oh yeah, and propoganda is rife in the US, the fact that you don't notice it just shows how bloody good they are at it. Grrrrr, makes me angry, this bullshit!

If you are sovereign, why advertise? Advertisement is for persuasion. If you are the absolute, you've no need for persuasion, eh?

Haha. You've got a good point there.
I'd also like to point out that communism is not inherently "evil" it is people's twisted interpretations of what communism represents. It, like all other utopian societies, fail because a society of perfection requires its individuals to be perfect & that just doesn't happen. The communist ideal can be so easily manipulated & abused beyond all comprehension because of this.
It is sad to see people be so beaten down. :(

You're right, theoretically communism is good...
but NK isnt exactly communist... all the money is going to the military and very little to the innocent people.
Spain is communist right? but that country seems to be doing ok in the world... if Bush was so keen on ridding the world of WMD, North Korea would have been more of a threat to the world than Iraq... I'm sure there would be people in NK who would actually be greatful to finally be freed. They would prefer the US and South Koreans to take control rather than there own North Korean Military...
