If Square Enix ever do make a remake of FFVII, I will buy it because I love FF games but I'd much rather they concentrate on a new story/characters than just keep milking Cloud and Sephiroth. As much as I like those two, I'm getting fed up with seeing them all the time.
Yeah, the screenshots of FFXIII are looking really good. The trailer I saw for FFXIII Versus looked great too. I'm sure in a while, more and more great games will be available for PS3. My only complaint with PS3 is the backwards compatability for us UK players. Why'd we have to do the same thing as with 360 and download to play games? Why couldn't they have kept it the same as the US PS3?
