the future concerns me. technology advances exponentially, yet it seems our common knowledge decreases exponentially. our dependency on technology is our weakness. when there's a power outage, what happens? most transactions can't take place because either the customer only carries a debit/credit card, or the store clerk isn't clever enough to work change without the computer.

technology will go so far, i think, then hit a ceiling. i don't think that we'll colonize any other planet. something catastophic will happen before then. be it nuclear warfare, viral infection, natural disaster, whatever. we're a doomed species, unable to work as a single unit, and only out to get rich.


lucky for us, we all die someday anyways. *shrugs*
