Do You Believe In Angels?

Who here believes in angels? I do think angels are real. I've heard many stories about angels. My grandma saw an angel in church one sunday morning a couple years ago next to my grandpa while he was preaching. My grandpa told me a story about when my grandfather was young. My grandfather's younger brother got very sick and one morning he was on his deathbed and the doorbell rang. My grandfather went and answered it but there was no one there. When he went back to his brother's bedroom his mom said his brother had just died right after the doorbell rang. My family thinks that an angel came to take him to heaven. We dont know that of course but i dont think it was just a coincidence. Who else believes in angels or has stories about angels?

hmm ive never had an angel encounter but those sound like very interesting things. i am not a christian but i ldo believe in god so i do believe in angels. whenever i think of angels i always think of the movie dogma... lol...

I'm not really sure what I believe in. I've always held a belief that there are entities present in this (or maybe other) universes that held some extraordinary pseudomagical powers. I'm sure that these entities, much like the leaders of our world, form beliefs, alliances and I'm sure that, just as on our own Earth, wars are fought between these alliances. (And yes, I have been called crazy when I voice these beliefs, but this really is what I believe :-D) Now when discussing angels as messengers for the Christian God (or any other religious entity), no. I do not believe in them, just as I do not believe in a God. However, angels strike me as being the type who would act as a sort of Officer in any war on this scale.

If you beleive in christnaity... an angle is a messenger. Also angle arent alway from heaven. God sent angles to David, but the angel was not from heaven he was just a human sent from god.

My mother believes strongly about Angels. She believes that we all have angels guarding over us and what not. My mom is not as religious as she use to be though.

I don't believe in them, I'm not a very religious person.

I believe strongly in the presence of 'guardian' angels and angels in general because I'm a Christian. I believe they're there to protect us and whatnot and guide us without actually physically interfering with our course through life and fate. Same goes with my family.

I believe we all have guardian angels, some people have more then 1. I do think that there is someone there watching over us, almost guarding and guideing us through our lifes.

Mmmmmm I personally don't believe in angels or spirits. My boyfriend really really believes that his dead relatives are watching over him. He even took me to the graveyard last week, and he started crying.
Kind of awkward for me to be standing there...watching my bf cry...as...I've like never really seen him cry before...
I respect this belief, I just don't...understand it.
Maybe I'll understand it when I lose someone that I care about.

I'm not sure what I believe, to be honest. I'm agnostic, and as a result I don't really hold any firm beliefs. I just have theories. I think that if there is a God, and a heaven, we all become angels. I don't believe in hell, so... Some angels just have dark minds, and therefore live in darkness, consumed by their minds. And that darkness is, to me, hell.

This isn't a debate, it's a poll. Because of this, it's impossible to criticize any of these posts, regardless of how absurd or illogical they are, without it being called flaming.

Regardless, my answer is yes, if by "angel" you mean God's thoughts passing to man.
