Dance Dance Revolution
I know this game is on a few other systems, but this is what I have it for, just for your guys information.
Anybody out there a big fan of DDR like I am? I have the second game, and love it.
Best place to play though, definately is at the arcade with the big metal stands and people around to watch. Favorite song is probably Captain Jack, right now. Can't think of all of them though...

I do play DDR ultramix 1&2 on XBOX, adn I must say, I suck.
I can get good grades on the songs, as long as they are under 160bpm and on light.
Otherwise, end up tripping myself and falling into the person next to me, which turns out bad.

I've played DDR Konamix (PSX), DDR MAXX, DDR MAXX2, DDR Extreme, and DDR Extreme 2 (all for PS2). I guess I'm decent...Iono, I haven't actually played in awhile.

First time I ever played, I almost fell off the DDR stand. XD
I'm alright at DDR now, I can play on standard. But I've seen better dancers than me, who can use both stands on heavy at once. I think its called Double.

Look, now I'm going to be on this topic all the time!
I love DDR. I still remember my first song- Bumble Bee on Basic on 3rd Mix. I've been playing ever since. Right now the university's arcade has a SuperNOVA (9th Mix), so I've been spending my money on that. I do somewhere around 6-7 on Difficult (Trick, Standard) or 6-7 on Expert (Maniac, Heavy).
I don't do so well on the home versions. A couple of my friends play on PS2. I think the pad spacing is a little different than in arcades.
Anybody want to name some favorite songs to play or listen to? From SuperNOVA, Xepher and DoLL are pretty popular songs for the players around here.

I love this game so much. It's really fun, the music is great (sometimes) and it really gives me my exercise. I seriously play it at least an hour every day. Sometimes I end up staying up all night because it is so much fun and I forget what time it is. Hahhahahahhahhahahahhahahhaha it was funny.

It's funny that you said "sometimes." I usually play with a group of two or three other friends, and one of them always wants to play songs the rest of us hate! It is funny.

Hahahah yes that's what's so great about the game, it was music for everyone. Only it's sad that sometimes you yourself think the songs suck, but other people like them, so you have to listen to the bad songs too.

The DDR game got taken out a few months ago at my arcade, and I still miss it. I've actually seen fighting over that game, and I have a feelin' that the pad was actually broke bein' fought over. I think they just decided to take a break from it....
Now they brought in this cheap substitute where the buttons are diagonal and hard to get, and you have to beat songs to get to the next round. And you can't save the songs, and you have to keep repeating! I can't even remember the name, but it's horrible!

I remember some friends of mine introduced me to the game, at first I sucked so hard at it, that it's unbelievable.
Then after some time I got pretty decent at it, I guess.
It's a lot of fun, that's for sure
