Convertibles
anyone else find these cars incredibly awesome?!
Leki would LOVE to have one of these cars, but mum will not allow. You know, you flip over, your basically crushed and therefore dead n all......
but their still cool.

My sister drives a very nice dark blue MG ZR. Well, she owns one; she rarely drives it for some reason. I'd love to give it a whirl, but lack a license. That, and it's illegal to drive anything over a 2.0 litre until you're 21. And she also probably wouldn't let me.

Well yeah, if your stupid enough to drive like an idiot. x_x Some girl was going 100 MPH in a Porsche 911 convertible and crashed into a toll both and her head was ripped off.
Anyways, yeah convertibles are really nice. If I could afford I would buy a hard top convertible. I'm just paranoid of not having a hard top because anyone can take a knife and rip the top off.
One of my friends mom drive a Mercedes Benz SL. x_x

i dont like them, my dad has a Toyote Mr2 2.0 litre engine and it is a T-top and its amazing i want to drive it but he wont let me and i dont have a licence and he is mean, but its not a soft top, did i mention that i really dont like soft tops

Convertibles? Um, no thanks. I'm not much into those kind of cars anyway. My brother has a convertible and whenever I hitch a ride with him, he always have the hood wide open, and my hair goes all over the place. Plus I wear contacts, so that really doesn't help...
I prefer my vehicles to be big...just to be on the safe side.
...Not that I drive at the moment...I'm actually scared to drive. o.o

I dont like big, I like being close to the ground and their usually harder to look around/park/et cetera.
I would LOVE basically any electric blue convertable. But I would like something that would make it harder to snatch something from my car.... though I wooould be stupid to keep something valuable in one. XD

Aww, you're not gonna show the picture? T_T And her head wasn't completely ripped off, just the top half.
Anyway, I really have no interest in owning a convertible, I'm actually perfectly happy with my '98 Toyota Corolla. I'm really not much for having fancy cars, the insurance is higher plus there's more of a chance somebody will want to steal them. So long as I have a car that functions well I'm fine.

By the way Leki, you're using "their" incorrectly. "Their" is a word indicating possession of something, you need to use "they're" since it's a contraction for "they are." Please take care to type correctly, it's not that difficult and I can't frigging stand when people butcher the English language. |

I agree, I'm pretty happy with my '06 Volkswagen Passat. I can't stand driving small cars. I prefer mid-size sedans and SUVs any day. I test drove the VW Jetta and the Honda civic and it felt like I was driving a clown car. =/ Oh god, my dad wanted me to get a Mini cooper. 
With convertibles as well they can ruin your hair and a bird can poop inside your car. o_o Other than that here are a couple of convertibles I really like:
Saturn Sky
Volkswagen Eos
Saturn Sky ranges about 24K to 30K, but it doesn't come with a hard cover.
Volkswagen Eos comes with a hard top and a sun roof. Ranges in price...28K to 37K. I saw it in the show room and I was like: 'Damn...thats a hot car...and not as expensive as most German imported cars.'

They're okay. Cloth top convertibles are stupid inventions. They break easily and the way they open and close is...once again...easily breakable for morons. You can easily rip them too.
My aunt has an extremely sexy hard top convertible mercedes. I fell in love with it the first moment I saw it. =D
Maybe I'll be able to afford one when I'm 80. =D

Don't worry, most people who drive expensive convertibles are old anyways.
I've seen a few old men drive around in a Bentley convertible.
