A.) First off, I want to know why you think they've been being weeded out of the newer games.
B.) Do you think this game will FINALLY bring back those things?
C.) Do you think it's good to bring back a world map and transportation for it?
D.) Do you think chocobos will play a small role in the game, as they have since FFX?

A) I believe it was just because they wanted to make it seem more realistic. However, I can't cast magic in real life, or do many other things that you can in fantasy worlds, so I ask: Why push for realism in a fantasy game?! Also, it's not to real to me to walk around in small areas while constantly running into walls, hills, mountains, and somehow impassible grass, trees, small rivers, and the like. Frankly, in my opinion, the world map is the more realistic of the two.
B) I highly doubt it. If they really work at it and utilize the PS3 (or whatever system) to it's full potential, then hopefully they will be able to make a combination of world map and whatever you want to call what they have right now, into one, genuinely realistic setting, kind of like Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, or the good MMORPGs.
C) I heart the world map, so yes, of course I think it's a good idea.
D) I sure hope not. I really hope they bring them back with a vengeance. Best case scenario would be to bring back the ability to raise chocobos, but with even more options and choices this time.
