Laguna Girl?
Could we be facing another Laguna-type character with this nameless chick from XIII? I think it would be interesting to get to play as her in that role, since the creators have said she is not the main character, but a strong independent force.

That would be cool. I really like the flashbacks of FFVIII, they were my favorite part of the game. Do you know who the main character is?
I hope it's that one really cool guy. I haven't seen the trailers yet T_T

I think flashbacks in FFXIII would be cool.I mean she lost her memory so that would be interesting!

Just kidding.
But she doesn't even have to be in a flashback, in my opinion. Even if she lived in the same time as the main character and we just controlled her in a different place, being all mysterious, that would be great.
if it is like another dimensional place like Lunatic Pandora, I hope they do a better job of explaining it and the conenction to the first time player. All that Laguna and Lunatic Pandora junk confused the hell outta me my first time playing FFVIII.
