Already,Lightning is my new favorite FF heroine.Judging from the trailer,and from what Tetsuya Nomura said, ( he said that she is not very feminine ) Lightning seems like the type who is strong,independent,and relys on herself.I like the idea of that,because that's kind of how I want to be,and her gunblade is neat.I like guns and swords and her weapon just somehow puts that together which makes it even better.What does everyone else think of her?

Welp, since I have no idea what's going in with FFXIII and basing my assumptions on the graphics and the short descriptions of her, I would have to agree with everything you said. In short: Independent, strong, and strong-willed.

I try not to make judgments based on pictures alone because I usually end up disappointed.

But, judging from the pictures, she does look like she can hold her own at least. To be honest though, her character design doesn't really interest me at all.

id say that i think she does look pretty awesome, but then again i thought zidane was going to be the worst main character, and he ended up being my favorite. ill also point out that i think the hero from versus looks really badass and cool, but i also have a feeling that ill be disappointed. don't judge a book by its cover is my point

the first time I saw her I thought her outfit is kind of reminiscent to the Humes in FFXI. I find her cool with those moves. We dunno about her personality yet but it's said she'll be an opposite of Yuna or very different to her. maybe something tough like Paine but I have a hunch she's a bit girlier. but that's me.

Whoa, She has a gunblade? They are bringing those back from VIII? Oh wow.

Well, based on her pictures she seems like a badass woman, but when I seen Ashe I thought she was a nice girl who was soooo sweet. I was so wrong when I played the game. =/.

It's not *really* a Gunblade. It's a sword than transforms into a gun. And vice versa.

Ah, I see. Alright then. haha.

I am guessing it's still a branch off from VIII. Well, I am expecting this "Lightning" character to be badass from the Trailers I've seen.

Well… there’s not a whole lot of information on her as of yet, but from what I’ve seen in the pictures as well as the teaser trailers from E3, she looks pretty bad-ass. If I had to venture a guess, I’d say she was a highly trained soldier in art of hand to hand combat (highly skilled in Martial arts fighter) or… she’s an assassin (kind of a stretch there).

In short, I like what I’ve seen thus far…

I will wait until I play the game before I make decisions on any og the characters.
