Yeah they are kinda weird looking. I have to agree Balthier was probably the msot normal looking guy. Omg...Vaan...his voice annoyed the heck outta me. He had the gayest voice ever lol.

Easy. The characters look like crap because Yoshitaka Amano didn't do it. xD
TBQH, though, I think it may be that the designer selected, the guy who did Tactics/Vagrant Story/Etc. just doesn't designer a lot of PS2-friendly characters. Or they tried so hard to make everything else look good that they ignored the characters entirely in the end.

Yep Balthier is the best looking person in the game in many ways haha
Vaan = fail
He is just annoying in many ways, mainly looking really feminine and having that ugly torso......

I agree with Kitty-Kat, Balthier was the only character I really liked. Vaan just scared the crap out of me when I first saw him; "Jesus Christ, it's an alien!" was the first thing I thought when I saw him. And yeah, Ashe had way too skimpy clothes. Fran wasn't much better either.
It's like they made the game for 13 year olds who can't control their hormones. Sure, I don't mind one light clothed female in the game, but when all of them are?

This game probably has the best definition of characters in the series so far. Everyone always begs for more realism and as close to the real thing as possible, so I think FFXII for a PS2 release game is very very good.

It was really wierd Reks looked like a girl and Vaan did a bit as well. OMG what the hell was wrong with his 'abs'? The others were ok but in Revenant wings they were ruined.

Revenant Wings has cutesy, cartoony graphics, so they're gonna be a bit odd...
It's to be expected at the end of the day with games like that!
