Ah... didn't realize that the gun was what was doing it (should've though)... and like half his coolness is from his gun toting, so that just kinda sucks, then, eh? Oh well.

Guns are pretty useless when you start getting the high level greatswords.

Well, the best greatsword I have is the Save the Queen (on my way to get the Excalibur, though) and it barely hits for more than the gun I have Balthier using... which I can't recall the name of, atm... that said, the bow and pole I have for Fran and Penelo (accordingly) are the weakest weapons I have equipped on anyone, but like Balthier, they aren't my main group so it doesn't much matter (I can beat the game as they are, so blah).

Gun deal damage according to their power ONLY. it doesn't even take enemies defense into account. So the best gun would only deal 3100 damage. When compared to a masamune with genji gloves or an Excalibur which can both combo, it doesn't compare.

LOL... I see... funny thing is that last night, I went ahead and opened every katana for him on the license board, including the Masamune, so it seems like I may be using him soon enough... just have to get myself one, now.

I mainly used Ashe, Basch and Balthier whenever possible, unless I had to I very rarely put Penelo, Fran or Vann in starting party which explains why they were 20lvls below the main three

my most used are Fran Balthier and Basch. I like NEVER use Vaan Ashe or Penelo. lol my levels are Fran: 99, Balthier: 80, Basch: 79, Ashe,Penelo and Vaan :43 XD

I only have two most used characters, they being Vaan and Fran.
I alternate between the other four, so i use them fairly evenly
