| Final Fantasy XII Presumably the last "main" game to be released on the PS2, FF12 broke the tradition of Battle Screens. It was also the sixth game ever to receive a perfect 40/40 score from the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu. |

The Viera?
I was talking about FFXII with my friend, and she raised an interesting question. Considering the Viera aren't supposed to leave the Wood, there's a lot randomly wandering Ivalice.
I was thinking, either a lot of them were unhappy with living in the wood - like Fran, or, there are more Viera colonies than just the one in the Golmore Jungle, and they would have less strict rules.
Thoughts?

... hehehe "My Friend." xD Have a name O_o
I've seen them all over the place... Phon Coast, Mt Bur-Omisace... Rabanastre. They're everywhere. I think some of them may have gotten bored... Like the one in the Hunter's Guild. Ktyn or something... But surely Eruyt Village can't be the only place that teh Viera have colonized? But why don't we here anything about them if there are other places? It's confusing. I'll go ask these Viera randomly Wayfaring their way down Phon Coast. O_O
Square! Clear this up! >_>

There are more tribes, you just see the one in FFXII. I read somewhere that if viera from another tribe meet, they just greet each other and go on their way.

Omg a spinoff starring the Viera would be awesome. I just wish we could see some of these other colonies. It would be an interesting experience in my opinion.

I agree, a Viera spin-off would be nice, but watch it be a GBA or DS game, and a lot like X2.

XD One of many reasons why there needs to be a spin-off starring the Viera..
But I agree with the theory that there are other Viera Colonies on Ivalice.. I mean, Eruyt wasn't THAT big.. they couldn't of ALL come from there, could they?

Exactly. Heh, I don't think they'd go to the trouble to make a game starring a Viera. MAYBE, just maybe, they could have a sequel to XII starring Fran.

I don't know, I like her, but it seems a bit pointless, kinda like DOC. Well, it was pointless for the most part.

I was see it as just one big Tribe in Erupt Village. All other Veiras are 'stray' ones. Remember, they have incredible longevity so all the ones you see around Ivalice could have strayed over a long space of time.

Based on how the ones in Eruyt react to Fran (and Mjrn, to a lesser extent) as well as what some of the Viera NPC's comments, the Viera wandering around Ivalice are outcasts. The general policy is "once you leave the wood, you are never welcome back". It's also mentioned that Viera who leave the wood can no longer 'hear" it.
I'd say it's likely that there are multiple villages. Eruyt wasn't all that big.
