One of the best intros?
I loved the intro to XII. It just exuded with excitement, disaster, darkness, and action. The battle scene was also pretty darn awesome in terms of graphics and all the action involved; seeing all those soldiers fighting all at once kinda reminded me of LoTR to be totally honest.
Also, I loved the narration of it too. The whole thing reminded me of Tactics in a lot of way too.
What are your thoughts on FFXII's intro?

Best ever - forgot VII's, VIII's was dull, IX's, eh, so so, X - 2nd best, totally kicked arse. X-2 - er, no thanks.
Early ones didn't have much of an intro tbh. XII's just hit you big style, which was all good for me.

Yeah, the intro pretty much sucks you into the game. It's a great intro too 'cause it reveals a lot about the upcoming 'plot' and all that other jazz which is all fine and dandy, but I just wish that there were more scenes like this in the game. xD

I adore the intros in any game and 12s does rank with some of my all time favs. I know Ive got a good itro whenI get goosebumps from start to finish and this one truly gave me some goosebumps!
Beautiful animation and moving also.

The Intro was more Action Packed than other Final Fantasy games.
It had me intrigued and held through the entire thing, too bad the game didn't hold that for me.
Beautiful Intro though.

Yeah, quite the action filler for an Intro. I loveddd it. It made you think you were in for a great story developed game. rofl.
X's intro was soft and very melo. As for VIII's, it was kinda dramatic and the music fit nicely to it.
Overall XII had the best one.

Yes… Quite possibly one of the best intros ever, in my opinion.
To be honest… I’ve yet to see an introduction that was boring, except for FFVII and below. Other than that, FFVIII still remains my all-time favorite with FFIX closely behind it.
In all, FFXII’s intro was pretty amazing!

I didn't find VIIs intro boring...but thats besides the point, i adored XIIs intro - i t was action packed, the music was awesome, it set the story up well and the graphics were jaw dropping  one of my favourites for sure. I liked how they mixed action - the war - with normality - Ashe's wedding.

Have we all forgotten about Final Fantasy XI's intro?! That intro was amazing aswell...along the same lines as Final Fantasy XII. They both were huge fight scenes. Final Fantasy X, really the intro was boring but the first FMV was GREAT. Final Fantasy VIII led off nicely with a training scene with Seifer and Squall with nice music. VII's intro was decent, IX meh...so so. But X (Zandarkand FMV...it was the first one so what the hell, thats my intro) XI and XII take the cake.
