Haha. You think the Saurian is tough? Try using your magic around a giant Entite. Doesn't matter what type of magic - just you wait and see what happens. Entites are to be feared a lot more than that puppy of a dinosaur.
Lord, Zertinan Caverns. I once took a walk into there and saw snake like covered horses. Ooh, let's get closer I thought. However, somethine told me to cast Libra, and thank God I did. Those guys were tough, at much higher levels.
Haha, there's something worser then Entites. Ever seen the level 99 Red Chocobo? Yeah, don't go near it. Just don't. Only if you're at his level or are loaded with amazing shit. I took this guy on at level 49/50 in my first playthrough, and was battered. Tried to run away, but it casted Meteor or something on me repeatedly. Damn, my ego was so deflated that day~

A probability of 1 in 256 after obtaining the Treaty Blade and after defeating six or more chocbos on Ozmone Plain.
It also drops a ribbon if you manage to kill it

I'm gonna assume that you're talking about the Barheim Passage.
It can be quite hard going through there, and some of those dinos can raep you if given the chance. I'd use libra before going to take on big, intimidating looking things, especially in the early stages of the game. You don't want to visit the Penumbra in the Pharos Lighthouse.

I might hunt this Chocobo, but using the Diamond Armlet and looking for the Ribbon in the Necrohol of Nabudis or Henne Mines is probably a better idea...
You can also get it from Vishno, but I only got some stupid stone last time I tried.

I've been killed many times over, but when you see a gigantic dino and you're only level 8, the first thing you do is run.

Tsk tsk, only level 8? You're crazy. xD
But then again, so was I. Yeah, he killed me too. However, it wasn't my intention to initiate a battle...I just saw him coming on my left and before I knew it...battle music comes on. Of course I tried to run away, but it was futile.
After that though, I was able to run away from him countless times, until I managed to get a higher level and initiated a battle to finally claim my victory.
