Final Fantasy XII Presumably the last "main" game to be released on the PS2, FF12 broke the tradition of Battle Screens. It was also the sixth game ever to receive a perfect 40/40 score from the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu.

Oh Noes!
No Zodiac Spear for me because I open a stupid little treasure chest...i mean...it was a freaking inconspicuous little treasure...bucket. And now that I opened it I can't get the best spear in the game.

Am I the only one that thinks this is stupid.

I had to start over from a save point early in the game because I opened a chest. Yes it can be annoying, but Im sure its worth it in the end!

You can still get it, but it has a 1/1000 chance of appearing in a treasure chest elsewhere.

Bahahaha! Well, oh well. This is just my first run through the game. I can predict that I will be making at least one or two more runs through, so as more to even out my party just a bit better than it is now.

It's not worth restarting the games because it isn't all that great when you fight yiazmat and high end marks because of the low combo rate

I hate the ZS requirements but it is apparent later on that it is not the be all and end all of FF12 weapons so there is no need to restart.

I was annoyed when I found out about it, because I'm one for opening every chest (or things alike) for potentially rare/useful items. My policy has been well-justified, but this just... urgh. Real kick in the balls. Low-blow Enix... low-blow.


Fortunately, I've recently started again and managed to ignore the specific chests. I'm almost excited.
