Areas: I loved the detail that was put into the different areas of the game. Especially in places like the bazaar in Rabanaster. I would often have Vann go up to a wall or storefront so I could move my camera around and see all of the amazing detail. It was cool to see moving clouds in the plains as well. I liked how having it rain sometimes and having it be sunny sometimes made the plains seem more realistic. I also liked how large most of the areas were. It took a while to get through some of them, and I like doing that more than whipping right through to the next area.
Most Favorite Areas: Rabanaster, Jahara, Giruvegan, and Archadia.
Characters: I really liked Basch and Fran. I thought both characters had interesting outfits and they both had interesting backgrounds. As someone has posted already, Fran wasn't just a big piece of eye candy prancing around. She was actually intelligent, and a good character to have around. Basch just kicked butt :] (I liked the multicolored checkerboard under his lether vest)
I LOVED the Garif. They were so mysterious and cool looking. I have a bunch of theories as to what they look like under their masks. I also love the voice for the Garif cheif. It was so interesting to listen to.
I also really liked the Nu Mou, but they were not a big part of the game at all.
Music: I don't have a lot of favroite music from this game...I actually thought a lot of it was kind of annoying.
FMV: The opening FMV. I really enjoyed seeing some of the characters that worked with the king. There was one in particluar w/ white hair that I wanted to be a playable character. Rasler wasn't too bad to look at either
Gameplay: I LOVED the gameplay in this Final Fantasy. It was really smooth, and I liked the battle system. Going on Hunts was really fun, and I thought they were great sidequests. I liked the freedom you had too. There weren't a lot of restrictions once you got past the first part of the Game, and you could kind of just w
