Nah, Balthier is nothing like Auron at all. Balthier is more charisimatic and outgoing than Auron is while Auron himself is more like the silent, broody type.

Balthier thinks he's the shit, Auron is wise and not so cocky. Balthier is a tad more mature for his age, but no way does he resemble Auron haha.

i thought auron was arrogant is a way, like when you first see him in the colloseum the way he just gets his sword out and beckons to monster to come, it just seems sorta arrogant in a way. Thats my thought really

I personally find Basch to be the Auron of the group due to personality and battling style.

i think that balthier is kinda like auron in some respects but nothing like him in others, auron loved close combat fighting whereas balthier prefers ranged, they are similar in wisdom and they play similar roles where they both offer wisdom to the main character, so bal is kinda like auron
