Whats diferent about the summoner?

There were some job updtaes a while back and the summoner was one of them. So is it any better? Whats diferent about it?

They split the blood pacts up so you can have a set of blood pacts for healing and stuff and a set for damage dealing. They also changed the effect of summoning magic skill. If you're wearing equipment that increase your summoning magic skill, and your skill is exceeding the cap, your blood pacts receive a small increase in duration or effect.

Oh I see. I guess whne I play it might be worth trying to get after all. So how long would it actually take to take the rainbow gem or whatever into the different climate zones?

I did it for my friend the other day and to take the Carbuncle's Ruby to every weather in the game can take anywhere from two hours to several days. You'll need access to certain areas and know where the weather is to move efficiently. The ones that are really hard to find are the fire and ice weathers.

Oh Jesus. I'd never have the patience to do that. I guess the good old fashion white mage/black mage will have to work for me. Although I find it easier to get into parties if you're a white mage.
