should i get it
never really had a very good internet or anything like that but now i do and the money to pay monthly fees etc .. i know i should find info myself but fact is the info publishers etc give you will be different than to what the actual players think so how do you all feel about the game..is it worth the money? whats it like/about?

This game takes awhile to get into and obviously it isn't for playing a month or 2 then put the game down, you need to put a lot of time into it. It can be fun but frustrating at times. If you have more than enough money then I would say go ahead otherwise I wouldn't say it is that worth it.

I was wondering if this game is playable offline? i.e. if you don't want to or can't play online does it have a game option or story that you can play offline as a single player? Would it be worth it or is it definately an online experience?

I would say that its worth it, its a really cool game but to buy it. The choice is yours, plus don't always believe rumors and other things, you could ask a friend who you trust and ask him. I would say yes, but it really depends on the type of likes that you have.
