I enjoyed the game a lot when I played but as time went by I felt a drain on me. I just wish this game didn't take so long to do anything. That and gil sellers ruined it.

I agree. I did enjoy it (Although not the same way as I enjoyed other FF games) but every now and then I will just completely stop playing it because the struggle to make money just becomes very frustrating. I was a level 44 Dragoon with level 30 centurian armour, level 4 mantle, level 7 gorget, level 21 earrings because when ever I get enough money to buy something, I can't afford to buy everything so I usually just end up buying body armour. I'm level 46 now and have level 45 Brigadine/Carapace armour but I everything else is still low.

I always run into times where I feel like I just want to stop playing, but there's so much to do in the game that I always find a reason to stick around. Lately, it's been mostly for the new stuff that came with the new expansion, but yeah.
I can see why it's hard to get into the game to play. Back when I first started, everything was easy. It was quick to level because everyone was the same level. It was easy to make money because everyone was doing it. Now it's to the point where I can make a lot more money than lower level players just because I have access and ability to anywhere and anything. In any case, I still love playing and I always have something to do.
Ultimately, you have to play with people you know or be very willing to make really good friends with someone in game. Otherwise, it's very boring.

I really struggled with the game at first, the worlds were to big, I felt lost, I kept dying, money was impossible to gain... Although when you do get a Linkshell and can chat to people throughout your world you gain friends and most of the time there high levels and are willing to aid you with maybe abit of body armor or a sword or just some useful advice, they even can help you finish Quests. After that things stop being so impossible.

I finally got +100k in gil! Big moment for me.
Still not a lot but I have been going through the game with like 10-20k gil. By the time I got the money it would be gone since I would have low armour. I sold all of my Centurian armour that I bought from Signet and got +100k it.

It was so difficult to get into the trades as well to gain money, and I really found it hard with the AH. I ended up making Sheep Leather through crystals and stacking them up selling them to AH making me a profit of 4000gil I think. Was great but gaining Sheep Skin was rare and time consuming! I thought about Leveling my Thief to Level 15 to get that Skill where rare items become more frequent but that didn't help as much...
