I don't think that Rikku and Tidus where right for each other at all. Yes they were similar, but to me it looked more like Rikku admired Tidus and not love him like the way Yuna and Tidus loved each other.
I think the reason Tidus and Yuna where both great was because they were both following the paths of their fathers, which created a special bond between them.

Never thought there was someone else for Tidus. He was with Yuna and that's that, there was never even a hint that there would be someone else.
Lets review the possibilities though:
Rikku + Tidus = loud and dumb
Lulu + Tidus = she'd eat him alive, that's what I think, nothing incommon, he's just a child compared to her.

Meh.... Yuna probably was the best for him. But I would've loved to see him and Lulu strike it up at least once. That would've been as funny as hell!

yuna is a classic choice for tidus because of the destiny around there encounter........however rikku is spunky and if you watch the scene between her and tidus in guadosalam they have some strong motives for being together? I don't know I'm just rambling besides rikku has nice boobs!!!

I have the traditional view that Yuna was the right lover for Tidus. Though it would have been interesting if it was Lulu.

I found that Rikku and Tidus were very similar but it seemed that Tidus had no chance with Rikku. Yuna was kind and soft and she really deserved Tidus xD

Yuna, of course! They compliment each other well, and, even though Rikku and Tidus are similar, they just shouldn't be together.

Yuna was obviously the perfect lover for Tidus, they suited each other and the chemistry was correct.......As much as I hate Yuna I have to admit that she was the right lover for him

Do you think that tidus should have got with yuna, or riku?
in my own opinion, i think that he should be with yuna because of the story to FFX, but i think outside of the story, he should be with Riku. I mean she and the AL-Bhed did save his life after all.
