By the time FFX came out I think I was done with the renaming of characters. Besides, I don't think I even renamed the GF's in FFVIII as if I was going to be using one in battle, I probably forget which ones are which. So, default it is.

I always keep everything on their default names on almost every playthrough just to keep things normal and to keep it easy when discussing the game with other people. Less confusion the better.

I kept them normal...well at least the first time i beat the game. after that i named them after my dogs lol... and aint there a thread for this already????

Unless I was doing a speed run of the game or purposely wanted to be silly, I always kept the Default names.
