Wakka gets useless character when you get near the end. Right now, my Tidus has enaugh points to strike out a flyer, and Lulu's magic is strong enaugh to defeat it too. Wakka is barely stronger than any of my characters. Sometimes I qestion myself if I need Wakka

He sort of reminds me of the class Barret is in FFVII. Wakka and Barret are both in a sense warriors, but they have long-range capabilities where as others in the part can not reach the enemy far away on a physical attack (besides Vincent in FFVII).

But yeah, I would just say he is a ranged Warrior...or a Balla.

I would put him as an enchanted ranger coz he's like a normal ranger except hes got a ball instead of ur average bow and arrow and stuff and he can also inflict different statue illment

Wakka was frequently used in my party. I love status ailments, I love to prolong the battles sometimes.

Wakka reminds me slightly of Mustudio from Tactics, though Mustudio's abilities cuts of the enemies physical options.
