Yep a really strong bond. But if Tidus wasn't there anyone from Wakka, Lulu or Kimmari would do I think.

I dont think that auron could get picked because of what happend to him. Cause it wouldnt really make sense i dont think.
Kimhari or possibly Wakka because of there close relationship. It would be kinda akward if he was because it would be quite the cryfest xD. But i suppose if anyone was picked it would be a cryfest

I would pick on any of them.. but
if you think about this logically
Tidus isn't real in their world, so would he be accepted?
Auron is a ghost , would he be?
Would Lulu allow Wakka to go since they end up marrying?
Yuna Wakka/Kimari wouldn't let Rikku go..
So that leaves Kimari.

I have to say Kimahri would nominate himself. Though Wakka and Lulu also would sacrifice themselves Kimahri would consider it the ultimate way to protect Yuna. Tidus could also be chosen but I doubt he would, he doesn't seem like the type to do all that fighting and then become a final aeon. Lulu and Wakka would be determined but I think in the end Yuna would choose Kimahri. I doubt Yuna would sacrifice her 'big brother and sister'.

A bond that was only established halfway through Yuna's pilgrimage, even then they didn't really have that moment in which they recognised each other as cousins.

It all depended on who she allowed to die for her summon. Wakka would probably have a blitzball and look somewhat like him. Tidus would most likely hold something close to the Brotherhood sword and as always look somewhat like him. It all really depended on who she sacrificed.
