I listened to him, but I can't say I remeber what he said. I really wasn't paying attention, but he just had a cool voice. And a cool hat, I want it so badly!

I listen to him on ocassion but I felt he yammered on too much so not that often.

People only listen to half the sounds around them and these are the ones that aren't natural so I have learned to make only natural sounds and it has allowed me to follow foes undetected while I wait for the time to slit there throats.

I always listened to Maechen. He was a cool old d00d that knew a lot of stuff about Spira, so it was good for backstories and all that junk. The FFX storyline was the stuff, and his stories only made me appreciate it more.

I'm playing through the game again the now and noticed this last night. It's the same with that weakminded female priest, she gets to places faster than she really should.
I listened to him, he does have some nice details about Spira which makes him more interesting than most.

I always had a good ol' chin wag with the old coot. Well actually it was more like he had a good chin wag and I did all the listening.
Any-who, he normally had some interesting things to say and you could learn a lot from him a bout Spira's past and other stuff.

Yes, I listened to him. I love the guy that did his voice! It sounded so wise, noble, scholarly? Ha ha. And if you did listen to him, you could learn alot about Spira and it's backstory. So it really does pay to listen to the annoying NPCs, at times! If you want to know the whole story of the game, that is. He could be rather long winded, though.  Especially in X-2. xD
