Did you find that blowing up Home was a tad depressive? lol. In X-2, why was it not rebuilt? Talk of it here.

Yeah the blowing up of Home was Quite depressing, but it shows the reality of war. and i think the reason that the Al-bhed didn't rebuild home was because ofter Yuna defeated Sin and Yevon the al-bhed weren't Persecuted anymore, and therefore didn't have to hide.

That does not mean they weren't still hated. Also, they used Home for gathering all the Al-Bhed together instead of all of them being so spread out everywhere.

Well, they probably don't have any clear leaders since Cid goes off to do his own thing, and they're probably still trying to recover from the effect of the war. most of them either live in Djose Temple or the desert anyway, so they know where they all are.

In a way, yes. You can't go back then at any point of the game to grab anything you may have missed. Or, you can't go back to see what it's like inside at all. I've only played through that part of the game once, and already I'm starting to forget what it was like there.
It was home to a few of the best cut-scenes in the game, so of course it's an epic moment then when it gets destroyed.

Well I wasn't depressed but the fact you couldn't go back there kinda sucked, I like this part of the game too, I sort of hoped it would have been rebuilt for FFX-2 along with Kilika, of course Kilika was rebuilt but no Home

Surprisingly, I didn't find the destruction of home depressing at all compared to the rest of the story. What I did think was, why are they doing it? Are they certain there are no more Al-Bhed alive in there, as a player, I certainly wasn't sure, nor could I understand the reason for its destruction.

It was destroyed because it was being over run with Fiends and the like. They had to get rid of it.

Yes, it was being overrun by the fiends, so there really was no choice left for the Al Bhed to make but to sacrifice Home.
Yeah, I found a bit depressing, I always thought you could go back to the ruins or whatever else would have been left there after the battle, but as AG said, it's the reality of war. The whole episode just sheds a bit of reality on the game.

Ive deleted your post and given an infraction Torcida. It was off topic and clearly racist.
I seen the destruction of Home to be depressing, but then again there are many parts of X that are also depressing, Yuna sending the dead can be a beautiful FMV, but at the end of the day shes movng souls on.
