Final Fantasy X movie?

Hi all

I was just wondering, would you go and see a FFX movie if one came out in a similar style to advent children? Also, what would you like to see in the film?

No, I'm not a Sqaure-enix employee doing marlet research, I'm just curious. I certainly would, I was amazed by the scienematic cut scenes in X when I first saw them (but we all were right?) and I'm love to see the whole story in that sort of graffic detail. Although I home they'd do the voice overs better this time, and more flash backs to Braskas quest!

I doubt there's gonna be something like that. There's already a sequel game that's for the sake of Tidus/Yuna fans anyways.

Meh Topping the Story of Sin would be a major... yeah the story itself is movie enough Maybe the only part of a movie if they had it I'd watch would be from Seymour Flux on and maybe have it do a little cutscene to explain it but I don't think it's a good Idea the only way to make it actiony is to start it off with them getting rdy to kill Seymour... a completely new story, yikes! It doesn't sound like it would go well because of the game style. FF7 worked well because of the style of the game and how it ends off and junk like that but FF10 would have to start midstory as not to get bored I say guado on but still boring parts.. Idk not a good idea.

Maybe they could just do a movie about the game itself?
That would be weird but I wish they could pull it off...

I don't think a movie based on the game would work, condensing all those hours of game play into a couple of hours film would just suck. And be pretty pointless, imo

A film sequel would also suck. What else is there left to cover? It was rounded off nicely in X. X-2 was fun but....there wasn't really any need for it tbh

Even though Final Fantasy X has a sequel, it's just not popular enough for them to even consider a movie. If they did make one yes I'd go see it, but as far as it actually happening, FFX just isn't popular enough.

Would I go watch it? Sure. I don't see why not.

What would I like to see in it? Just try to condense the events that took place in the game into a 1.5-2 hour movie. A sequel doesn't appeal to me much. As others have said, the game was concluded nicely.

Yeah, Leki loved the games.... actually didn't completely finish X-2 'cause I lost interest when I found I couldn't get the Mascot Dressphere.

But I would like to see a movie on the Aeons, and all... More from their perspective, or the Fayth's.

Yeah I would go and see one if it was made. But being a good idea, Im not sure. I thought X was popular, but it got a sequel, the X cow has been milked enough. We dont need another 7 market craze thanks.

There wouldn't be a point of making a movie based off of the game, because the game was a movie in and of itself. I saw the point in making Advent Children because the characters didn't have voices, couldn't easily convey emotions, and the graphics got a serious upgrade. In FFX, the graphic are already sweet (at least in the FMVs), and it already has the elements of a good movie, minus the random encounters.
