This is a ranking of the Tier Listing of All the playable characters within Final Fantasy X (excluding Seymour of course). Remember, that I obtained all of their ultimate weapons+completely deleting and re-adding the Sphere-Grid for everysingle character so that they could achieve the 255 Max Stats for All (The Sphere grid is the single reason why I never ever grind anymore in any rpg since).

Again, "things" could be subject to change, however it is quite unlikely, but the possibility is always there.

Yuna w/ Yojimbo For Zanamoto - This is the single most ridiculous move within the entire game. Pay Yojimbo enough and he'll do Zanamoto, and with that single move, regardless of how much HP/Defense you have, it doesn't matter, Zanamoto ='s 1-Hit Kill. Yes, even the mighty bosses from the Monster Arena will fall from this in 1 single blow.

Wakka - There is nothing much to be stated, because simply put, Attack Reels ='s Pawnage. 12-Hits each for 99,999 Damage simply pushes Wakka as Top Tier.

Lulu - Seriously, she's not that great in many parts of the game, but she's a complete powerhouse when at her full potential, if you are at least half-way decent in rotating the analog stick, you can get around 8+ hits with her Overdrive Fury, pushing her damage potential even above Tidus. However, not only that, but the reason I push her above Tidus is the mere fact that Ultima Fury ='s numerous 99,999 hits for an area affect as well.

Tidus - Tidus has Blitz Ace which is 8 consecutive hits for 99,999 damage, this obviously makes him Upper-Tier, he doesn't have as much firepower potential as Wakka or Lulu, nor does he have the ridiculous Zanamoto like Yuna, but he's still a very powerful character regardless.

Auron/Khimari/Rikku - These characters rank here simply because they do not have multi-hitting 99,999 attacks/Overdrives. They simply are not up to par with the other characters due to this reason. Final Fantasy X is like many of the other FF games like VI Advance, VII, VIII etc, which depend alot upon numerous damage within a succession against the most powerful of enemies, so these three characters lose out on the race unfortunately.




The Tier listing in here isn't as big, because the character differences weren't overall that vast, because you either had or you don't, and sadly three characters all fall within the same category. So in X, it wasn't too difficult to place them where they are. However I'm not surprised by where they are placed as well. Because when I first started FFX, and before I got everyone to their max potential, I could already tell who was going to be good and who wasn't.


My Second Important Notion on Yuna: Zanamoto although just slightly random, if not for that notion, Yuna would be undisputed, Elite Tier all ranked by herself, because Zanamoto has No Equal within Final Fantasy X.

However, another factor as well that I did not mention which involves The Magus Sisters can be even stronger than Wakka's Attack Reels, because Mindy's Passado Attack can dish out 15-Hits each for 99,999 making it surpass even Wakka's damage potential (Yes, I even maxed out ALL of the Summons).

Seriously, Yuna is arguably the most overpowered character in Final Fantasy X.

My Second Important Notion on Lulu: Lulu also has potential to even surpass Wakka in damage potential. Because really, since there is no limit to rotating to achieve the number of attacks for Fury, you can suprass more than 12+ Hits if your fast enough. However it's quite annoying to do that consistently, I usually can average around 10-12 hits for 99,999, but I have gone over 12+hits numerous times though, which would surpass even Wakka's Attack Reels.

If you can do 12+ Hits with Ultima Fury consistently, Lulu pushes above Wakka.
