As I said though, my version may be different to yours, there are different versions of games with features added/removed.

Yeah, my version doesn't let my aeon fight against it's dark form at all, I didn't use them at all during the fight against the dark aeons, they were just too powerful for my aeons to handle.

okay thanks guys I just wanted to see if anyone had actually bothered to try this at all.
I might see in my version if you can before I bother stating up (well that's if I play it in the near future) the aeons.
Yeah increaing stats is boring....

Though well worth it in the long run. I think my ff10 is a PAL version, not too sure. Taking on an aeons dark frorm with that aeon would only confuse me so I am glad I have my PAL version.

Fun yes, but it would create a lot of confusion among fans, I mean would you like to explain how an aeon can fight it's dark form? that is the equivalent of commiting suicide. How could a fayth fight itself?

I have no idea but cos it's a form of itself it should be able to defeat it or at least have an even fight against the other form

But to answer hypotetically:
With a max HP of 99999 and maxed out stats, it should be possible for all aeons to beat their dark forms. Except Yojimbo beacuse of Zanmato, and The Magus Sisters and Anima because they have attacks that do well above the 100K mark (Passado, Oblivion). If the aeons could learn Auto-Life on the other hand, that would be a whole other situation.

i'l have to check that later....iv got dark anima next but i cant be bothered having to redo that mountain trial......i might have a go later.....or actually i might try the dark magus sisters that'l be easier.......
watch this space lol, lets see if i'm a numpty and got it wrong
*edit* you can definately use your aeons against there dark forms....altho, as for trying to win a fight with them......my magus sisters got annhilated immediately
