I wish this game explained a little more about Shuyins and Lennes past....it says what they did but it explains little of how they were brought up. Like who were Shuyins Parents? How did he meet Lenne? Where did they meet? Too many holes of why she became a summoner and how he became her "guardian"...1000 words to never be spoken, indeed. Anyone have any clues how Lenne became a songstress and a summoner? She must have been 1 busy girl. If Yuna saved the world twice, did Lenne save the world 1000 years in the past? Tell me what you think.

first of all shuyin isnt lennes guardian, hes just her lover, second yuna was also a songstress and summoner

everybody comes with talents when they're born

Lenne's talents were summoning and singing, so she became a summoner, but also did concerts as a singer, or songstress,
it was simply cause she, just like Yuna a 1000 years later, was talented in both, she well... became both, eventhough Yuna only became a songstress when she got the songstress dress sphere, which is in fact a bit cheating, but well, you know...

Lenne did not save the world, in fact, she was a rather insignificant person, like any other summoner in that time, only known as a songtress with summoning skills, she was called to arms by Zanarkand to fight Bevelle, a battle she survived, but Shuying got enough of that, and therefore wanted to destroy both Zanarkand and Bevelle using Vegnagun, the ultimate machina, but even before he could use Vegnagun, Lenne stopped him(in some way she did save the world) but both got shot, Lenne died, Shuyin survived and died in a prison, he became an unsent bound to wander Bevelle underground looking for Vegnagun,

to sum things up

why did she become a summoner? she was talented, and because of the war, got trained as "footsoldier(footsummoner?)" to fight for Zanarkand
why did she become a songstress? yet again talented, and because she loved singing

and to comment on Chocobo, he was in a certain way her guardian, not a classical guardian we know who took a pilgrimage, no a guardian in the way he wanted to save her from dying on the battlefield

You may (as you say) piss alot of people off Raptorg, but you sure do know your stuff

Yes, Lenne was a Summoner and a Songstress but how she became either is up to you to decide, typical SE really, they leave alot of "holes" for you to fill in with what ever your imagination pleases.

not skipping scenes helps

and if it has anything to do with FFX(which are my favorite games ever, both 1 and 2), i like to know as much as i can about it, it's a habit, i also know 80% of the warcraft lore
